KomUnita is a social platform for volunteers. It will create a space where volunteers and VOs can interact,
communicate and educate. The idea was developed from feedback reports we receive from volunteers. The
aim of the project is to address the need to manage volunteers in a more efficient, flexible and impactful
way in order to improve the recruitment, engagement and retention of volunteers which are central pillars
for the sustainability of the organisation.

The project will take our current volunteer management system and procedures from a laborious system of
emails, postage, papers & social media to a modern, innovative centralized technological system.
